Chase Ihle received his bachelors of science in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduating Sum Laude in 2011, and his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver in 2015.

Chase has been in the field of Mental Health in some form or another since 2012, where he started his Career as an Assistant Family Teacher at Boystown. In Graduate school, Chase found his passion for helping individuals in crisis to overcome their life circumstances and live a life characterized by higher levels of satisfaction. He currently is providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, and families in private practice.

Chase has made his clinical focus centered on the treatment of trauma and has ascertained extensive knowledge on the subject through his graduate studies and work with suicidal teens and children. Chase uses a wide variety of theories and interventions to tailor treatment to the individual but remains firm in his focus on attachment theory, motivational interviewing, family system’s theory, and Cognitive-Behavioral theory. He has been published for his work in graduate school in the fields of addiction treatment and his contributions to the child maltreatment laboratory at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Chase is trained in dealing with the treatment of anxiety, trauma, and is currently working on becoming a certified provider for the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Chase uses a wide range of dyadic interventions to work on strengthening the relationships of parents and their children and has been trained in numerous types of play therapy to treat children. He also uses Motivational Interviewing with his teens and adults to help strengthen their resolve to make life changes. Finally, he has been trained extensively in the use of behavioral techniques to help individuals address their individual or familial concerns.
